This is one of Pakistan’s oldest fashion brands that originally just dealt with unstitched fabrics. The Group began trading in textiles in the early 20th century. In 1953, the group decided to enter the field of manufacturing under the name Gul Ahmed Textile Mills Limited, and was incorporated as a privately limited company. Ideas by is the retail venture of Gul Ahmed Textile Mills Limited.
Ideas offers a range of home textiles and furnishings for the bedroom, kitchen and bathroom, as well as men’s and women’s apparel. It also provides in-house monogramming, embroidery and tailor-made services. “The textile giant entered the retail industry with its flagship store ‘Ideas by Gul Ahmed’, and today has an extensive chain of more than 100 retail stores across the country. These stores offer a range of products – from home accessories to fashion clothing.
